Dr. Umar Farooq, along with other Board members of PAKPAC spent a busy day at Capitol Hill, Washington DC meeting and engaging more than 50 congressional leaders from different states. The members emphasized that the United States must be a partner with both Pakistan and India to mediate the tensions between two Nuclear States for Regional and Global Peace. We should focus on peace and human development rather than war and weapons.

Dr. Umar Farooq was honoured to receive “Community Medal of Honor” from Liberian community on Liberian Independence Day celebration 2019 at Bensalem PA. Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick, Councilman Ed Tokmajian, Councilman Jesse Sloane and Council Candidate Bryan Allen also attended the event.

Dr. Umar Farooq has graciously offered training opportunities to young physicians at APPNA’s 42nd annual convention in Orlando, Florida. Dr. Farooq is a tremendous mentor and has been helping international students in getting their residencies from last few years. Apart from offering the clinical experience at his practice, he also provides free accommodation located close to his practice. Medical students get hands-on experience on EMR, clinical skills and also participate in Free health fairs, social and political events with Dr. Farooq.
