Umar Farooq, M.D. has received Community Service Award from NAACP at their annual Banquet held on October 21, 2017. PA Governor Tom Wolf was a key note speaker. Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick also attended the event. Umar Farooq, MD also gave remarks on drug addiction problem in the state of Pennsylvania & endorsed Gov. Tom Wolf ‘s community programs regarding this issue. In his concluding remarks, he quoted Martin Luther King Jr. “Everybody can be great, Because anybody can serve.”
